Hello, welcome to the new blog. It took quite some time to get it up and running due to my router getting partially broken (some websites would open, most wouldn’t, sometimes e-mails came through, other times they didn’t, etc.) which made it kind of hard to identify the problem (which was eventually solved by moving the cable to another plug on the router). Long story short, I had planned to update the site when I put it behind a password (to keep the installing of WordPress secure) and had reserved the time to write the new stuff for it, but due to the router breaking, things didn’t go as planned and it was impossible to upload the new blogging software. When I finally got things working, my available spare-time was less, and would be spent on more important things than a website.

Anyway, the website will take a whole new direction, no longer being an introduction and collection of information for the majority, but rather a personal blog and informal sharing of experiences and thoughts for the those with common interests. While the site won’t be a forum for open discussion (something I found quite useless for the subject on the internet and pretty much stopped participating a couple of years ago, though only removed the forum from the old site less than half a year ago), feel free to email me or post a comment (though no guarantee is given that the comment will get published).
